Run Read Order

Run Read Order
HP and contact lanesRoute first, then collect. A bad lane costs more than a missed XP gem.
XP and level cardsLevel-up choices are the main way to commit to weapons, passives, evolutions, and safety.
Active item slotsRuns can hold up to 5 active items. Spend panic tools before the screen fully closes.
Bytes and multipliersRaw Bytes are multiplied by difficulty, Tune In, Golden DVD, family bonuses, channels, and sponsors at payout time.
Boss and objective cardsWhen a boss, objective, or sponsor card appears, switch from greed to survival space until the pressure is readable.
Build chipsSHELF, TOOLS, and VIRAL indicate family bonuses that affect payout, damage, or streak pressure.

Scoring Signals

Raw BytesRuns collect raw Bytes from kills, pickups, corner rooms, events, and rewards during play.
Multiplier stackFinal payout adds the difficulty multiplier, Golden DVD, Tune In payout, family bonuses, channel events, and sponsor effects as percentage deltas.
Soft capLarge payouts are softened after 12,000 scaled Bytes and hard-capped at 60,000 scaled Bytes before fixed rewards.
Fixed rewardsBroadcast challenge rewards and final-clear bonus Bytes are added after scaled run Bytes are calculated.
AutopilotUsing Autopilot halves the final Byte payout and blocks next-scene unlock credit for that run.
