What Changes in Mini
| Area | Mini rules |
|---|---|
| Run length | A standard run lasts 4:00. Endless continues after the scene-ending boss. |
| Movement | The DVD moves continuously and bounces off the playfield. You adjust speed, sprint, dash, rush, and leap-slam; there is no free left-right steering. |
| Progression | Bytes buy permanent stats, weapon access, starting slots, run perks, charges, and cosmetics in the Byte Shop. |
| Items | Active items are found during runs. Five slots hold the items you pick up; a full inventory opens a replace-or-discard choice. |
| Presentation | Art, animation, music, sound, and the bitmap font are generated by the executable instead of loaded from asset files. |
| Scope | Mini is a standalone single-player game. DVDNET, online leaderboards, co-op, and the Level 0 tutorial are not included. |
Shared Catalog
| Area | How to read the wiki |
|---|---|
| Names and pairings | Weapons, evolved forms, passives, synergies, active items, enemies, difficulties, and achievements come from the main DVD Survivors catalog. |
| Runtime behavior | Mini implements the catalog inside its smaller arena and four-minute timing. Exact damage, cooldown, unlock cost, and encounter timing can differ from the full game. |
| Wiki lookup | Use the main catalog pages to identify an entry and its relationships. Use the Mini pages for Mini controls, progression, run rules, and scale-specific differences. |
